Louxuan Qigong
The human body is a complex organism. In the Jiulong Baguazhang system
we learn how to create health and whole body power in numerous ways. One of
the most powerful but least understood methods is that of Louxuan Qigong /
Spiraling Energy Skill. With this powerful exercise we develop core strength and
a deep connection between the legs, torso and arms. Louxuan Qigong is
simple to learn, involving specialized standing and turning yoga like exercises
in which we twist and turn the body in specialized ways releasing tension in
major joints as well as in the torso itself. The spiraling actions of Louxuan
Qigong are beneficial to the internal organs, improving digestion and internal
circulation of blood and Qi to the vital organs. Louxuan Qigong also works on
the immune system of the legs and torso simultaneously as it strengthens the
fascial covering of the torso to enhance protection from strikes and blows
received during an attack. These simple exercises go deep into the body
producing complex results in health, internal and external strength as well as
enhancing longevity. Come learn this fascinating and powerful Qigong exercise
taught by Dr. John P. Painter PhD ND chief instructor of Li family Daoqiquan
arts.
